Applications for Permits are normally made to the appropriate authority within the country of origin of the applicant. In some circumstances an application can be made to the appropriate authority in another country (e.g. if you are supported in Antarctica by another country it may be allowable to apply for a Permit through them). In all cases, it is your responsibility to ensure that the proper Permit procedure is followed as it applies to your own particular circumstances. For information on Permit requirements and how to apply, follow the link to the appropriate contact for your country of origin. They will be able to advise you further.
[Note: This list is under construction. Links are provided to the national contacts for Antarctic activities, and for several English-speaking countries an additional link is made to specific resources related to Permitting procedures, where these were available. Countries with Permitting information on-line are encouraged to notify the web site maintenance team for the Committee for Environmental Protection so a link can be added if desired.
