Welcome to "antarctic applications online" (AAO), where you can apply to conduct science or other projects in the Antarctic, sub-antarctic and Southern Ocean.
Science project applications for the 2010/11 season have now closed.
Non-science project applications for the 2010/11 season are being accepted from 8 October until 30 November 2009.
If you have not used AAO before and are not an AAD employee, you need to create your personal online account before starting your project application: see Register as New User.
If you have already registered, or are AAD staff, using your assigned username and password.
To use AAO, you will need Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher, or equivalent browser software; for more details, see Compatible Software.
