AAS Research Grants

Australian Antarctic Science Research Grants

The Department of Finance and Deregulation published guidelines on Commonwealth Grants in July 2009 that require the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) to provide information on grants awarded under its Australian Antarctic Science (AAS) research grant scheme.

Each year the AAD, which administers the AAS research grant scheme, sends to the Minister responsible a list of grants for approval. Once approved, relevant details from the list are published on the AAD's web site.

This year (2009-10) is the first to provide grant details in this way.
