The Expeditioner Liaison and Training Coordinator (ELTC) is the main point of contact at the AAD for family members and friends of expeditioners. Confidentiality is strictly maintained in all matters.

Through ELTC, we are committed to ensuring that expeditioners and their loved ones are informed and provided with resources in preparation for Antarctic separation.

ELTC is able to assist with issues in respect to separation, communication with people in Antarctica, and is able to provide supportive contact to those seeking help. ELTC is able to provide supportive contact and has access to options and resources to assist people when requested.

ELTC maintains a contact list of nominated contacts for each expeditioner and provides ongoing information on shipping schedules and mail closing dates etc.

You will nominate (via AAO profile) a primary contact, to be contacted in the event of emergency or death. Other mailing contacts can be nominated but strictly limited to two people only.

ELTC can be contacted via contact form or by free call on 1800 030 680.

You can also access the brochure Antarctic Separation.
