AAD expeditioner salaries are paid into their nominated financial institution account (including banks, credit unions etc). Private arrangements may be made with the bank manager to transfer funds to other accounts or fixed deposits.

Electronic banking is also available and you should check with your bank or institution for details of services offered.

When there is a possibility that you may need to have funds drawn from bank accounts during your absence in Antarctica, you are advised to establish a joint account with another person.
