What is the black or white line that sometimes appears in the photo?

The black line could be one of the guy wires of the tower on which the camera is mounted at Mawson. In certain light conditions, reflections occur on the dome housing the camera.

Reflections can also appear as a white line as you can see in the right hand photo above.
